Threshold People
A collaboration with Will Moss

“Cities, like dreams, are made of desires and fears, even if the thread of their discourse is secret, their rules are absurd, their perspectives deceitful, and everything conceals something else.
” — Italo Calvino

The Threshold People signature is a template for its own making. Sixteen pages of visible content, with sixteen additional pages of hidden or barely visible content intermittently strewn through the perforated gutters.

The folded uncut signature nudges the reader to awaken the work through peaking, flipping, ripping, and turning in order to try to make sense of the content.

Accompanied by a fishbone-shaped letter opener (inspired by the Tom Waits song, Fish in the jailhouse). Its function is to break the limbo of gutter, where the imagination and mystery are held.
